In international military missions, information is exchanged between forces from different countries, with one example being through Friendly Force Tracking, or Blue Force tracking.
In this case, there is a requirement to only permit information transfer provided that information is transmitted according to NFFI version 1.3, that network traffic can be inspected on application level, and that messages shall be permitted or discarded.
A SecuriCDS ZoneGuard can be used to implement these filter rules, and to also inspect on information level, if required. There may, for example, be a need to filter out certain data out of transmitted information.
